Crews attended a road traffic collision involving two cars, with one that had left the roadway and come to rest in a ditch.
Firefighters used a thermal imaging camera and gas detector to monitor both vehicles and make them both safe.
Two casualties were assessed by paramedics on scene, with one later being transported to hospital.
Police were also in attendance and closed the road while the incident was dealt with, and the incident was handed over to them.
