Four fire engines from Crewe (x2), Alsager and Lymm

Fire crews arrived to find smoke coming from an upper floor of the building. A full evacuation was carried out. Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus entered the premises with a hose reel jet to investigate.
Crews found a plant room filled with smoke and gained access to the ducting system via a hatch. Water was applied to the fire and good progress has been made. Firefighters remain at the scene to monitor the situation and continue dampening down.
