Firefighters were called to reports of a fire in a domestic properyt in Hayes Park, Chester.
On arrival they found a fire involving a dishwasher, with two firefighters wearing breathing apparatus and using a hose reel to put the fire out. A large fan was then used to disperse smoke.
Occupants of the property were treated for smoke inhalation by attending paramedics and conveyed to hospital for checks.
