Firefighters attended an incident involving a person who had fallen around 30 metres down a steep embankment. Specialist technical rescue crews worked alongside the ambulance service's Hazardous Area Response Team (HART) and police colleagues to establish safe rescue systems before firefighters were lowered down the embankment with a stretcher to reach the casualty. The casualty was secured onto the stretcher and carefully lowered further down the embankment to waiting paramedics. They were then handed over to the ambulance service for further assessment and treatment.
