3) Has the service issued any advice, guidance or warnings around the subject of electric battery vehicle and fires?
4) Did any of the incidents result in significant damage or injury?
Currently the Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service Incident Recording System (IRS) has insufficient facilities for the comprehensive recording, and subsequent analysis, of the involvement of the categories requested at fires attended by Fire and Rescue Services (FRSs). Therefore, due to the specific and uncommon information asked for, we cannot provide the data requested.
In relation to question 3, Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service have not issued guidance specific to electric vehicles however we did publish guidance following an incident involving an electric bike and another involving a hoverboard fire.
