FOI 1806 - Air Fryer Fires

Number of callouts to fires where "air fryer" is named as the cause in each of the following calendar years: 2017, 2018, 2019, 2020, 2021 and 2022. Please include any available details on the number/type of injuries, deaths and length of time to put each fire out.

After a thorough search of our Incident Recording System and Incident Management System, Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service did not attend any fires involving air fryers between 1^st January 2017 and 30^th November 2022.

Please be aware that there is no specific category on our data systems for air fryers. A keyword search for ‘air fryer’ was therefore performed using the data in our Incident Recording System and Incident Management System which did not produce any results.
