FOI 1854 - Fires caused by e-bikes or scooter batteries

Please could you tell me for each of 2020, 2021, 2022 and to date in 2023:

 - How many fires suspected of being caused by faulty e-bike or scooter batteries have there been    which have been responded to by your fire service

- How many of these caused injuries?

- How many of these cause death?

The information provided is based on a keyword search for ‘scooter’, ‘e-scooter’, ‘electric scooter’, ‘e-bike’ or ‘electric bike’ on our incident recording systems. Therefore, the data provided may not include all fires involving scooters or e-bikes unless these keywords were recorded on the incident logs.
