A fire in a terraced premises was extinguished by four firefighters wearing breathing apparatus who used a covering jet to put it out. A cordon was set up around the area for safety and crews used a thermal imaging camera to check the premises for hot spots of fire. The fire was contained to one property but surrounding properties were checked as a precaution. Crews were in attendance for around three hours. An investigation to establish the cause will take place.
