Firefighters were called to reports of multiple vehicles well alight. On arrival, crews found two cars and a van affected by fire.
Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used two hose reel jets to extinguish the fires, which are believed to have started accidentally.
The incident was handed over to the vehicle owners and the road was reopened.
