Firefighters are at the scene of a serious road traffic collision involving two-vehicles at the junction of Hobb Lane and Chester Road in Daresbury, Warrington. The road is currently closed, please avoid the area if possible.
UPDATE at 19:30 - firefighters have released a number of casualties that were trapped in vehicles and they have been taken to hospital. Crews will be leaving the scene shortly.
