Firefighters were called to reports of smoke coming from a property in Chester. Upon arrival, firefighters wearing breathing apparatus discovered a fire in an upstairs bedroom of the property. No one was found inside.
A hose reel jet was used to extinguish the fire, and a high-pressure fan was used to clear smoke from the property. An investigation took place, and the cause is believed to have been an electrical fault.
