Three fire engines from Northwich, Lymm and Winsford

Firefighters attended a boat fire in Northwich. Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus utilised hose reels to tackle the fire. All persons were accounted for.
UPDATE AT 4:16 pm | The fire has now been extinguished. The fire was extinguished externally off a nearby jetty. Specialist tools were used to cut an opening in the top of the boat to assist with firefighting. A thermal imaging camera is being used to check for hotspots. An investigation into the cause will be taking place.
