Four fire engines from Macclesfield (HRET), Congleton, Bollington and Wilmslow, plus the water bowser from Crewe.
Details
Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used hose reel jets to bring a fire involving wood chippings inside a large farm outbuilding under control.
The High Reach Extending Turret (HRET) Scorpion from Macclesfield was used to fight the fire through the roof by piercing through and spraying water onto the fire from above.
Crews were on the scene for some time as they removed, turned over and dampened down the wood chippings to ensure the fire was out.
