Crews were called to tackle a fire involving approximately 150 tonnes of compost.
Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used three hose reel jets to dampen the flames, as well as using onsite machinery to create fire breaks to prevent further spread.
A second, smaller compost fire was discovered nearby, involving around 50 tonnes.
At 21:30, firefighters remained at the incident, continuing to dampen down and monitor the area with thermal imaging cameras.
An update will be added on 13/10.
