Crews were called to reports of smoke issuing from a house in Warrington. Upon arrival, firefighters discovered a fire in the kitchen of the property.
Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used a hose reel to extinguish the fire, and the property was ventilated to clear it of smoke.
All persons were accounted for. This is believed to have been caused by an item left on the hob.
