Firefighters were called to a car fire on the M6 South. The fire was extinguished using a dry powder extinguisher and firefighters used a hose reel jet to cool the engine compartment. Police were also in attendance and fended off the hard shoulder and one lane of the hard shoulder while the incident was dealt with.
