Firefighters responded to a burst water pipe in Runcorn, working with United Utilities and the housing association throughout the incident.
Portable pumps were used to move large volumes of water away from nearby homes, and the power was isolated to affected properties.
Firefighters also cleared blocked drains to improve water runoff, supported the delivery of sandbags, and monitored water levels as the leak was reduced and eventually stopped.
