Crews were called to a chimney fire at a semi‑detached house in Frodsham. Firefighters used chimney rods to tackle the fire from the hearth and carried out checks in the adjoining property and shared loft space using a thermal imaging camera.
Crews used ladders and height‑safety equipment to access the chimney pot and continue extinguishing the fire.
