One fire engine from Alsager and one of our four weekday fire engines
Details
Crews were called to a shipping container that was well alight in Betchton. Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used a hose reel jet to extinguish the fire. They then cut away parts of the container and used onsite machinery to expose remaining hotspots. A thermal imaging camera was used throughout to monitor temperatures and ensure the fire was fully out.
