Firefighters responded to reports of a carbon monoxide alarm sounding at a property in Widnes.
A gas monitor was used to check for any signs of a leak and a high‑pressure fan to ventilate the premises.
The utility company isolated the gas supply as a precaution, and neighbouring properties were also checked for safety.
