Crews were called to reports of smoke within a commercial building in Over Peover. Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus investigated the premises with a hose reel jet on standby. A thermal imaging camera was used to check for hotspots. A small fire was discovered in a cupboard, which was out on arrival, and firefighters dampened down the area. This is believed to have been caused by a battery.
