Three fire engines from Penketh, Stockton Heath and Warrington

Firefighters were called to a fire in a kitchen in Warrington. The fire, which is believed to have been caused by plastic left on a hob, was out on arrival. A high-pressure fan was used to ventilate the property. All persons were accounted for, and one casualty was transported to hospital for smoke inhalation by paramedics.
