Crews were called to reports of a smell of gas at a commercial premises in Widnes. The property was evacuated.
Firefighters entered the premises wearing breathing apparatus, using a gas detector was used throughout the building to check for unusual readings, of which none were found. The incident was handed over to the utility company.
