Firefighters were called to a well-established fire in a shipping container in Widnes. Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used a hose reel jet and main jet to extinguish the fire, and a high-pressure fan to clear smoke from the container.
The container was stripped out, and thermal imaging cameras were used to identify any hotspots, which were then dampened down. The fire is believed to have been caused by an electrical fault.
