Details
Crews were called to a pile of smouldering manure in a field in Rudheath. Working with the farmer, they dampened down the material while the farmer used a mechanical digger to turn it over.
Firefighters used a thermal imaging camera to identify hotspots as the material was turned over, dampening these down using the hose reel jet.
