Firefighters were called to reports of a car on fire on New Chester Road, Childer Thornton. The fire involved a single car, which was well alight. The occupier had managed to remove themselves from the car prior to the arrival of emergency services.
Firefighters used a hose reel and breathing apparatus to put the fire out, before handing the incident over to attending police officers.
