One fire engine and the rapid response rescue unit from Nantwich

Emergency services attended an incident after a person is believed to have fallen into the River Weaver below Nantwich Bridge on Welsh Row. On arrival, firefighters found the casualty holding a throw line deployed by police. Crews lowered a ladder to reach the casualty and safely brought them back up to the bridge, where they were assessed by paramedics.
