Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus entered a house following reports of a fire in the kitchen. A hose reel was used to extinguish the fire. Roof tiles were removed to check for signs of fire spread using a thermal imaging camera, with any hotspots dampened down.
A high-pressure fan was also used to ventilate the property.
