Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus gained entry to a property and discovered a fire on the ground floor. Crews used a hose reel jet to extinguish the fire before carrying out a full search of the building.
Checks were completed to ensure the fire had not spread to neighbouring properties, with no signs of fire spread found. A high-pressure fan was then used to clear smoke from the property, and crews carried out further dampening down and a final sweep of the building.
The incident was handed over to police and firefighters left the scene.
