Our Response:

Red Fleet

Our current red fleet list is available on the Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service webpage for your perusal.

Over the last three years three new appliances have come onto the fleet resulting in three older appliances coming off the list. The list on the webpage details the three latest appliances now out on station(2023 vehicles) however the three outgoing vehicles have not yet gone, subsequently for appliances we are up three to normal.

The following vehicles have changed on the red fleet over the previous three years:

  1. 2021 Qty ten Toyota Hilux diesel Rapid Response Units (one per retained station). Two Range Rover 4.0 V8 Petrol’s were removed from the fleet

  2. 2022/23 Qty twelve Toyota Corolla Hybrids. These replaced seven Skoda Octavia 2.0 diesels, three Land Rover Freelander 2.2 Diesels plus we added 2 addition vehicles

  3. 2022 Qty one Toyota Corolla Hybrid Co Responder. Replaced Land Rover Freelander 2.2 Diesel
