• Any reports or documents relating to the closure of Capital Walk in Congleton

• Copies of correspondence between the landlords of Capital Walk in Congleton and Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service

Our Response:

I can confirm that Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service does hold the documentation in question however, after careful consideration, we regret to inform you that we are unable to provide the requested information due to the following reasons:

It has been widely reported that Capital Walk in Congleton is currently subject to an Enforcement Notice and a Prohibition Notice both of these can be found on the NFCC Enforcement Register which is available to the public. I have considered the public interest test with regards to transparency and openness however, under Part 2 Section 31 of the FOI we reserve the right to exempt any information which would form part of an investigation and where disclosure would prejudice the outcome.
