Could I submit a request for further information regards a recent Fire incident within Cheshire District on 29th July 2024 please? SP Energy Networks owns three regulated electricity network businesses, which are regulated by Ofgem, which includes the SPM Licence which covers the area where incident occurred.  Initial reports on the scene were that the fire originated within the upstairs cupboard where electrical service connections were located.  We would like to understand in more detail as to the suspected cause of the fire to identify if there was an issue with the electrical equipment that requires further action.
