The percentage of applicants for the Whole Time Fire Fighter positions that were female and the percentage of the positions that were offered to females in your previous recruitment campaign of 2023.

Our Response:

The percentage of applicants for the role of Wholetime Firefighter in 2023’s campaign was 14.5%. Following the subsequent online tests, practical tests, and interview stages of the selection process, the percentage of applicants who were appointed following an interview was 56% male and 44% female. All appointments were based on merit, meaning that only the highest scoring candidates at interview were appointed.
