1. In the last three years, how many members of staff have taken at least one day off work due to mental health? (Broken down by years: 2021/22, 2022/23 and 2023/24)

1a) Can you provide a breakdown of specific mental health reasons/conditions for example, anxiety, stress, depression, PTSD, work-related stress (Broken down by year)

1b) Of those that had taken time off due to mental health, how many subsequently left the service? Broken down by year.

2. Are you able to provide an estimated cost of mental health absences to the service in the last three years (Broken down by years: 2021/22, 2022/23 and 2023/24)?

  • The above categories are the categories we have a record of under MH, we do not separate items out ie stress is just recorded as stress whether work related or not

  • Some of our absences have been broken down for Anxiety/Depression/Stress however, some have not hence the incorporation above where we have no breakdown.

We are unable to provide this information. Our system does not break down Mental Health into a type for sickness.

We are happy to provide the full amount of sickness but with a caveat that this covers ALL types of sickness.
