Our Response:

  1. How many equality and diversity posts are employed in your authority?

    Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service employs one Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Advisor. This is a full-time equivalent post at 37 hours per week.

  2. What is the cost of such posts and any necessary direct admin support?

    The post is graded at a SO2 pay scale. The rate of pay for this scale ranges from £36,124 to £37,938. There is no direct administrative support dedicated to this post.

  3. How many of these posts are filled by ethnic minority applicants?

    Cheshire Fire and Rescue employs one Equality, Diversity and Inclusion Advisor.

  4. What is the number and cost of external training bodies and courses for equality and diversity training?

    All Training is done via our internal eLearning platform.
