Please would you provide information of the closest hydrants to the following site:

Tunstall Road, Macclesfield, Cheshire, SK11 0PE

Below is a capture of the site location with the approximate boundary highlighted in green.

Please would you also confirm if the hydrants are in accordance with BS750 and are able to deliver a flow rate of 2,000 litres per minute.

The water main in this area does not run the full length of Tunstall Road, and nearest hydrants are located over 1km away towards the A523 Macclesfield Road. This has previously been identified by Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service (CFRS) and a Water Strategy Plan has been formulated as part of the planned emergency response. The hydrant is inspected annually by CFRS, and it is assumed that it met the standard set in BS750 when initially installed by the water company. Unfortunately we are unable to provide any figures on pressure or flow.
