I would like to request the following information relating to residential explosions within your area, confirmed or believed to be caused by a gas leak which occurred from 2020 to present:

• Total number of incidents

• Number of deaths and casualties

• Number of people evacuated from their homes

Our Response:

After a thorough search of our Incident Recording System, no incidents involving explosions in dwellings caused by a mains gas leak were attended by Cheshire Fire and Rescue Service between 1st January 2020 and 31st July 2025.
