FOI Request 2244

Subject: Mobilisation System Changes

Status: Closed

Date received: October 2025

Question Asked:

I have noticed that the turnout systems at a number of Cheshire stations has had a sound effect added before the bells activate and the time they go on for has been shortened.

Is there a reason for this and do you plan to make any further changes such as adding callsigns that are read over the tannoy when they are mobilised?
