Thank you for your Freedom of Information Request received by Information Compliance on 8th December 2025.

The Freedom of Information Act allows Public Authorities in certain circumstances to refuse to comply with a request. Unfortunately, on this occasion we will not be providing the information that you have requested. This is because we have provided it to you in a previous request you submitted.

Section 21 of the Freedom of Information Act applies because this information is already accessible to you, as we have already provided it to you. On 1st September 2020 you submitted a request via What Do They Know (FOI Reference 1536) requesting information in relation to details of incidents attended in 2012, we responded providing the information on 3rd September 2020. This information would not have changed so we would be duplicating the information. The Freedom of Information Act also recognises as we do the demand on the resources and costs, so to repeat the work required for this request would have a negative impact on normal functions and budget.

Section 14 also allows the refusal for repeated requests when there is a complete or substantial overlap between the requested information.

However, if there is data was not requested previously but is now required, under Section 16 of the Freedom of Information Act I am obliged to provide advice and assistance so would therefore suggested that you amend your request just to include any extra data that you require.
