Please can I request a copy of the report into the explosion and fire at Wood Treatment Ltd, Bosley, which occurred on the 17th July 2015?

Thank you for your Freedom of Information Request.

You have requested a report which under the Fire and Rescue Services Act 2004 is a chargeable report. Section 21 of the Freedom of Information Act allows Fire Services to apply an exemption from disclosure to information that is accessible to the applicant by other means.

Also, due to the confidential nature of some of the information which would be contained in this report, there are limitations on who is entitled to receive it.

Under Section 16 of the Freedom of Information Act we are obliged to provide Advice and Assistance therefore to request a copy of an Incident Report please sent an email to operational.support@cheshirefire.gov.uk. The team will then provide clarification on entitlement to the reports and information on and how to pay.

Each UK fire service has a requirement to complete an incident report after they attend an incident.
