One fire engine from Lymm and a fire engine from Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service
Details
Firefighters were called to a suspected vehicle fire. Crews used a hose reel jet to cool the vehicle, which was smoking on the grass verge. No one is believed to have been harmed. Two lanes were closed while the incident was dealt with.
