Emergency services were called after reports that a person was spotted in the River Weaver near Winsford Marina.
Firefighters, including our swift water rescue teams, deployed a raft to search the water.
Police launched a drone to assist with the search, which detected a heat source downstream.
Two swift water trained firefighters entered the water to carry out the rescue. The casualty was retrieved from the river and handed over to paramedics.
