Crews were called to a road traffic collision, in which one lorry had left the roadway down an embankment. Firefighters provided initial first aid to one casualty, who had got themselves out of the vehicle prior to their arrival, and was later taken to hospital by paramedics. Crews used absorbent mats to soak up any fluid that had leaked from the vehicle. Police and National Highways were also in attendance, supporting with fluid clean-up and managing traffic by fending off one lane of the motorway and the hard shoulder while the incident was resolved.
