Emergency services are in attendance at a road traffic collision involving one car and a tractor. One person is trapped in their vehicle. A road closure is in place on a section of the B5074 in Church Minshull (what3words location: FILLERS.AWESTRUCK.SUPER).
UPDATE 12:30 Fire crews carried out a side door removal of the car following a collision with a tractor. The casualty was safely released from the vehicle and handed over to the care of North West Ambulance Service to be taken to the hospital for further assessment. Firefighters are now making the vehicle safe and packing away equipment.
Highways have been requested to support the clean up, and once safe, the road should be reopened.
