Two fire engines from Powey Lane and Ellesmere Port

Firefighters were called to a road traffic collision involving a vehicle that had overturned on its side on the A540. Members of the public had already helped one person out of the vehicle before crews arrived, and a first responder paramedic was already on scene. A full road closure was in place.
Firefighters made the vehicle safe and requested engineers, because a telegraph pole had been damaged in the collision.
Crews stabilised the vehicle and carried out gas monitoring and thermal imaging scans with no abnormal readings found.
Firefighters remained at the scene to support the safe recovery of the vehicle. Crews were in attendance for around an hour and a half.
