Crews attended a road traffic collision involving two cars in Warrington. One casualty received first aid from paramedics at the scene before being taken to hospital.
Firefighters used cutters and spreaders to rescue a second casualty from their vehicle, who was also transported to hospital by paramedics.
Police were in attendance, and the road was closed in both directions while the incident was dealt with.
