Crews attended a collision involving two cars, one of which had caught fire, with the blaze spreading to the second vehicle. Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used a hose reel jet to extinguish the fire.
Two casualties received initial first aid at the scene before being transported to hospital by paramedics.
Police also attended and closed the road while the incident was dealt with.
