Two fire engines from Crewe and a fire engine from Nantwich.

Firefighters were called to a report of a house fire on Stalbridge Road, Crewe.
On arrival they were confronted with a well developed fire affecting the first floor of a mid-terraced property. Four firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used hose reels to put extinguish the fire. They then checked the roof space to ensure that the fire had not spread to neighbouring properties.
Three occupants had self-evacuated from the property and were checked over by attending paramedics.

All persons believed to be in the property at the time are accounted for. Fire and rescue service attendance has been reduced to two fire engines and an investigation into the fire is underway.

Firefighters undertook final checks for hot spots and left the scene at 11:30.
