Do you allow secondary employment in your service?
We do not allow other employment associated with Fire Risk Assessments. This is the sentence within our Secondary Employment Policy:
4.4 The Service will not give permission for staff to be employed or engaged by another organisation (other than another Fire & Rescue Service) to undertake fire risk assessments in premises to satisfy the requirements of the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005. Staff who are employed by another Fire & Rescue Service to undertake such activity should only do so if suitably trained/qualified by that employer.

If yes, do you allow you staff to carry out this work within the Services area or not? - N/A
