- FOI Request 2127 - Long...
We formally request under the FOI 2000 regulations Act data you hold in relation to your headline figures/estimates where people are still on full contractual paid but classed as long-term sick:
Number of Days | Ave staff numbers | Est annual cost |
>60 but less than 120 | ||
>120 but less than 365 | ||
>1yr but less than 2yr | ||
>2yr but less than 3yr | ||
more than 3yrs |
Please see our response below to your Freedom of Information Request.
Please note: The below doesn’t state any time period so we have based it on the position as at March’s pay period for all those who have open ended absence at the time of running the payroll. Information includes the whole month of March.
We are unable to give average staff numbers as then an estimated annual cost wouldn’t be correct. We have used actual Staff numbers, hence the change of titles in the table. For costs we have used salary costs including permanent allowances and for the calendar days of absence, as nothing was specified in particular to include.
Number of Days | Actual Staff Numbers | Sickness amount Paid during absence up to 31st March |
>60 but less than 120 | 8 | 70288.21 |
>120 but less than 365 | 2 | 35635.29 |
>1yr but less than 2yr | 0 | |
>2yr but less than 3yr | 0 | |
more than 3 yrs | 0 |
